Accepting Nominations: 2013 Public Service and Outstanding Member Program Awards

Speaking of the Gift of Women's Leadership, each year the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations honors one or more programs of its member organizations with the Public Service and Outstanding Member Program Awards. Know of an outstanding program by a member organization of NCWBA? Why not give the gift of recognition?

The National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations (NCWBA) will present the 2013 Public Service and Outstanding Member Program Awards during the ABA Annual Meeting in August 2013 in San Francisco. The NCWBA’s Public Service Award, first presented in 1985, traditionally recognizes deserving projects of women’s bar associations that benefit women and children within the legal system. In 2008, the Outstanding Member Program Award was created to recognize innovative programs and services offered by women’s bar associations which focus on providing training and other benefits to their members.

Nomination Forms must be received on or before Thursday, January 31, 2013. Submissions received by that date will be kept on file for two years. Those not selected to receive the award in 2013 will be reconsidered in 2014.
