The Pennsylvania Bar Association's Commission on Women in the Profession is holding its 15th Annual Conference on June 5, focusing on paths to leadership, effective negotiation strategies, and effecting legislative change.

Over 500 attorneys will participate in the Annual Women Everywhere Community Service Day. Attorneys will take their many talents and put them to use as volunteers for one of 30 different agencies.
Attorneys will be planting gardens, building playgrounds, painting waiting rooms, organizing supply closets and providing cooking classes. Other attorneys will be giving seminars regarding Orders of Protection.

On Friday, June 13, 2008, Oregon Women Lawyers will celebrate the life and career of former Justice Betty Roberts at a CLE and reception to mark the release of her autobiography, With Grit and By Grace: Breaking Trails in Politics and Law.
The California Women Lawyers' annual conference this June promises to be a spectacular event, set on the Queen Mary in Long Beach on a beautiful June Day. The conference will feature workshops, current issues of importance to women, prominent women speakers, and several networking opportunities.
