Better Earnings! Better Living!” The U.S. Department of Labor Women’s Bureau is the only federal agency charged with promoting the interests of women in the workplace. The Bureau was created by Congress in 1920, the same year women received the right to vote. In its early days, the Bureau worked to eliminate sweat shops and end child labor. | ||

King County Superior Court would like to cordially invite and welcome young lawyers and summer law school students to observe the operations of the downtown Seattle King County Courthouse and the Regional Justice Center in Kent on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. On that day, a special tour will be conducted of the operations of the Superior court from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Start: 7:45 am
