Hello from the Harvard Women's Law Association!

For the next two weeks, the Harvard Women’s Law Association Conference Committee will be blogging in anticipation of our 7th Annual Conference, entitled “19%: When Will Women Have the Floor?” The conference, which is sponsored by Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, will take place on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Harvard Law School. The event is open to the public. Registration and more information can be found here.

This year’s conference will explore women's representation in politics and public life following an exhilarating election cycle and a historic year for women in elected office. As a member of Ms. JD’s NWLSO, we’ll be blogging for Ms. JD about various aspects of our conference planning, issues raised by our conference theme and panels, and being a woman at HLS more generally. Thank you to Ms. JD for giving us a platform to blog, and for providing support and guidance to the Conference Committee. We hope you enjoy our posts as much as we enjoyed writing them!
