Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles present Law Firm Leaders' Summit: Practical Ways to Retain and Promote Women Lawyers

Program Information:

Summit participants will engage in a dialogue with each other and with distinguished panelists about the different approaches and strategies firms are using to promote and retain women lawyers, including why and how to maintain focus on this issue in light of recent economic turbulence. The discussion will cover what has worked and what hasn't, in addition to the ways law firm leaders can identify and implement those practices that will work with (not against) their firm culture to help women lawyers advance in greater numbers. While the summit will include a brief overview of the status of women lawyers in law firms, the discussion will center almost exclusively on solutions, discussion with peers and practical advice. All managing partners and other law firm leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.
