Short Personal Description

I am a 1L at Widener University School of Law in Wilmington DE. I attended and graduated from Padua Academy, Wilmington DE in 2003. While attending Padua I participated in mock trial and discovered my love of litigation. I then graduated from Cabrini College in 2007 with a bachelors of arts, majoring in political science, a minor sociology, and a concentration in pre-law. I studied abroad in Roma Italy for the Fall semester in 2004 and Studied in Washington DC for the Fall semester of 2006. While in DC I worked 36 hours a week at Bonner Kiernan Trebach & Crociata, a civil litigation law firm in the district. I also took a Criminal Law class at night; the culmination of work and school provided me with 15 credits, a full semester. While in DC I was awarded the "Women's Leadership Award" and was a keynote speaker at the semester's commencement ceremony. It was a wonderful experience and I learned a lot! While in college I interned for a Superior Court Judge at New Castle County Courthouse, Wilmington De. I interned with her during the Summer 2005 and Spring 2007. I learned so much from her and really found my love of the courtroom. I "took off" one year between college and law school and worked as a clerk of the court in Family Court at New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington De. At this job, I realized my passion for Family Law and Domestic Relations. I am now a 1L at Widener, and even with all the work, I really love it! :)
