Ms. JD is seeking responsible and self-motivated law students to intern for the remainder of the fall semester.  Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, so apply today! A stipend of $300 will be offered for 30 hours of work. 

Duties will include:

• Copyright negotiations and compilation of a library of resource for women lawyers, including publications and studies on women in the law
• Data collection on statistics on women in the legal profession
• Content development, including soliciting contributions from practicing attorneys and judges
• Weekly updates and internet research on events and remarkable happenings related to women in the legal profession
• Conference planning for the 2009 Ms. JD conference
• Organization of programs to assist aspiring women lawyers in third-world countries
• Interaction with and supervision by women lawyers

Qualifications:

• Ms. JD is seeking responsible and self-motivated law students who have just finished their first or second years of law school. 
• This internship requires 30 hours of work during the fall semester
• Ms. JD will offer a stipend of $300 (approximately $10 per hour)
• The Ms. JD law clerk can work anywhere in the world as long as she will have uninterrupted internet access, a computer, and 30 hours during the fall semester
