NAWL Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon
The National Association of Women Lawyers will host its Annual Awards Luncheon on July 16, 2008 at 12 PM at the historic Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. The Annual Luncheon celebrates NAWL's achievements and honors the recipients of the NAWL awards.
Honorees for 2008 include: Dean Elena Kagan, Harvard Law School, who will receive the Arabella Babb Mansfield Award and deliver the keynote address; DuPont Legal Department, the recipient of the President’s Award; Helaine M. Barnett, President of the Legal Services Corporation, who will be given the Public Service Award; and the Honorable Deborah A. Batts of the Southern District of New York and Professor Suzanne B. Goldberg, Columbia Law School, both of whom will receive the M. Ashley Dickerson Diversity Award.
In addition, four NAWL members will be awarded the Virginia S. Mueller Outstanding Member Award for their outstanding contributions to NAWL and the legal community at large. Those members include Marsha Anastasia, Angela Beranek Brandt, Barbara Flom and Karen B. Kahn.
Luncheon tickets are $150 for members and $175 for non-members
