Hiring and retaining women of color in the legal profession is not simply and issue for women of color not is it simply a "Women's" issue. It is and issue that speaks to the success of the entire profession. With the increasing globalization of the economy, it makes good business-sense for both in-house legal departments and for outside law firms to craft strategies to ensure that women of color not only survive but thrive.
