Ms. JD 2010 Summer Scholarship Application

Ms. JD is awarding $500 scholarships to female law students entering their second or third year at an accredited U.S. law school and working the summer of 2010 at least 35 hours per week for a minimum of 6 weeks at a government agency or nonprofit organization. Unpaid judicial externs also qualify. Applications are due no later than July 9th. Recipients will be notified no later than July 30th.

Essay Topic: The 3 Things I Wish I'd Known Before ...

What's the best advice you never got? Choose a situation and three tips that would have made the biggest difference there. A situation could be: being a first year law student, applying for summer jobs, being a new mom, being a woman of color, or working in a non-profit. These essays will be shared with the Ms. JD community. The winning entries will be those that tackle a common situation and provide concrete advice.
