Women in Law Through the Years: How Things Have Changed AND Stayed the Same
Women attorneys are invited to this special evening of networking and discussion surrounding women in the law, hosted by the Women in the Law Committee and the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. After the networking reception, stay for an informative discussion of issues facing women in the law, and see whether those issues are any different for women who graduated from law school less than 10 years ago than they are for women who graduated 15 years ago (or more). The panelists will offer their perspectives on “women in the law,” and will have their own advice to share with others about how they navigate the profession. The panelists are: Elizabeth Acee, from Tyler, Cooper & Alcorn, LLP; Erika Amarante from Wiggin and Dana LLP; Livia Barndollar from Marvin Ferro & Barndollar LLC; Andrea Barton-Reeves from the Law Offices of Andrea Barton Reeves LLC; and Alice Bruno, Deputy Chief Clerk of the New Haven Superior Court. Please come armed with questions and perspectives, and prepare to meet and greet other women lawyers! Call the CBA at 860-223-4400 to make your reservation. Cost is $10.
