With generous support from LexisHUB students from 10 D.C.-area law schools are gathering at Georgetown this Saturday for the first annual Student Leadership Summit. The program will consist of a panel presentation followed by an afternoon reception. We hope you'll take this opportunity to connect with students from the region's top schools. Distinguish Yourself: Pathways to Success for Women in the Legal Profession
We all work hard and perform diligently to cross over the hurdles to get into great law schools. Now that we are here, how can we best capitalize on our law school and professional experiences to get the jobs we want? What sorts of careers will best fit each of our unique characteristics and experiences and enable us to reach our goals?
On September 25th students from ten D.C.-area law school will gather to at Georgetown University School of Law to hear from a diverse group of leading practitioners about the tools they needed to succeed in their respective fields. Each of these distinguished guests will discuss not only how they reached their current positions, but what they look for in the next generation.
When:
September, 25, 2010 at 1pm - 4pm
The panel will be followed by a late lunch reception. Attorneys who wish only to attend the reception should plan to arrive by 2:15pm.
Where:
Georgetown Law School, Gewirz 12
GULC is located mid-way between the Judiciary Square and Union Station Metro stops. The Gewirz Student Center is located right in the heart of Georgetown Law Campus. It is located directly across the green from McDonough Hall.
Student representatives will be near the entrances to Gewirz to direct you to the panel.
