Hit the Ground Running Bootcamp

The Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia and Ms. JD invite you to attend Hit the Ground Running Bootcamp, presented by WBA's Diversity Commitee in conjuncture with Ms. JD!

Do you want to be successful in the practice of law? If so, you must Hit the Ground Running!

Whether you are starting in a law firm setting, government, public interest, in-house, or still in law school, the skills and contacts provided at the day-long Hit the Ground Running Bootcamp are precisely what you need to stand out and advance during these difficult economic times. The bootcamp is a day of training divided into three discrete sessions designed specifically for law students and young professionals. The day provides training and feedback on skills that female attorneys traditionally learn too late in their legal careers to have an impact: Effective Communication, Networking, and Self-Promotion. Faculty members will include law firm partners, senior government officials, in-house counsel, and hiring directors, just to name a few. You can’t miss this important educational and networking opportunity.

If you join us, you will definitely Hit the Ground Running and ensure increased visibility and success as you begin your practice.
