MCCA Invites Gen Y Members to Make Their Voices Heard

MCCA, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, has launched its Workplace 2020 Initiative and we are inviting all Gen Y lawyers (born in 1980 or after) to take a survey on how Gen Y lawyers feel about their workplaces and what they would do to change their workplaces for the better. This survey is for all law students and attorneys born after 1980, not just those who identify as part of an underrepresented group.

MCCA's Workplace 2020 Initiative, a set of research studies and programming designed to assist the legal profession in revamping its approach to human resources is designed to prompt a redefinition of the legal workplace in order to meet the challenges and needs of the new talent in our profession.  We need Gen Y lawyers to voice their perspectives!

The results of this survey will be summarized in a written report and shared with members of the MCCA network. MCCA will also develop programming for leaders in the legal profession based on the findings from this research initiative.

So, please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us.  If you are not a member of Generation Y, you can still help out!  Please forward this to any of your colleagues or associates who might be of that generation and encourage them to complete it.  Data from all surveys is kept completely confidential, and only the research staff at Nextions LLC (the independent firm working with MCCA to execute this research study) will have access to any individual data. All reporting of survey data will be done confidentially and in the aggregate.

Please contact Rolisa Tutwyler at rolisa@nextions.com if you have any questions or need any additional information. Thank you in advance for your time, your candor and your valuable insights!
