Our Panel Includes:

Ashley M. Bauer (moderator) is a litigation partner in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins. She is a local Co-chair of the firm's Women Enriching Business (WEB) program, and is on the firm's local Mentoring Committee.  Ms. Bauer has a wide range of experience in federal and state litigation and private arbitration, including antitrust litigation and cartel investigation, white collar criminal defense, and environmental class action litigation.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bauer served as a law clerk to The Honorable Robert E. Coyle, US District Judge, Eastern District of California.  She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan and her B.A. from Scripps College.

Andrea Fitanides is the Supervising Attorney of the Volunteer Legal Services Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco (VLSP)’s Community Organization Representation Project (CORP) and the VLSP Pro Bono Manager.  Andrea joined VLSP as the Supervising Attorney of CORP and in July 2009 she expanded her role and took on additional responsibilities for volunteer recruitment and program development as Pro Bono Manager. Additionally, Andrea was appointed to the State Bar of California’s Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services for a 2012-2015 term.  Prior to joining VLSP, Andrea was a litigation associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP. She received her B.A. in philosophy at Claremont McKenna College and earned her J.D. at the UC Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).

Julie Locke is a Director at Lateral Link and oversees attorney placements and client services in California. Prior to joining Lateral Link, Ms. Locke was a Director with the Class Action & Claims Solutions division of Epiq Systems, a founder and principal of Pacific Star Consulting, and an attorney in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where her practice was focused on complex intellectual property and environmental litigation matters.  She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. in Chemistry, summa cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Lola Kingo is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins, and is a member of the firm's Litigation Department.  Ms. Kingo's practice is focused on federal and state litigation, with particular emphasis on white collar and appellate litigation.  Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Ms. Kingo served for two years as a law clerk to Judge Johnnie B. Rawlinson of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from Boston University.

Elizabeth (E.B.) McCusker is Corporate Counsel for Oracle Corporation, focusing on the company's mergers and acquisitions program. Prior to joining Oracle in 2011, Ms. McCusker was an associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP in the firm's Corporate, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions practice for six years. She received her J.D. from Villanova School of Law and her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross.
