The Article you’ve referenced “Are Flex-Time Options Hurting Women” poses an interesting question.  A little more than a year ago, I heard a talk on the “Balanomics” initiative (which makes the business case for firms to embrace flex-time) and left the meeting asking the same question.  Seems to me that convincing firms to encourage flex-time/part-time may lead such firms to somehow push women into those accomodations, even some women that would rather fight it out full time.
