March 2016 will mark 10 years of twelve dynamic women coming together and forming an organization to advance the representation of women in the legal field. Since its inception the organization has created a writers-in-residence program, a fellowship program in partnership with the ABA, a global education fund, an annual conference and many more initiatives. 

Ten years ago I was a high school senior filling out college applications and ready to conquer the world. I had it all figured out - or so I thought. Never would I have imagined the journey I would embark on or the bumps along the way.  I definitely wouldn’t have thought in ten years I would be on the board of directors of an organization that is a catalyst in the legal community. An organization that gives young women like myself the opportunity to be leaders and innovators in the profession. An organization that supports women law students and lawyers as we navigate an industry that is sometimes challenging.

I wish I had known like those twelve young women that I too could be an advocate and champion for women, regardless of my age or where I was in life.
