NWLSO Newsletter Editor Position Now Open!
By Ms. JD Editor • November 05, 2015•Ms. JD, Law School
Ms. JD is seeking an editor for their monthly National Women Law Student's Organization (NWLSO) newsletter, which compiles law student-related blog posts on the Ms. JD website, other pertinent articles and blog posts, job, scholarship and internship postings, and events of interest to law students. The editor serves a vital role by drafting the newsletter that connects and informs our national network. If the editor is interested, there is also an opportunity to write a monthly blog post or introductory note, which could be included in the newsletter.
Time commitment is no more than 5 hours a month, likely less. Ideal for a law student who enjoys writing, editing, and staying connected to what Ms. JD and other law student organizations are doing. Opportunities to grow within Ms. JD and become more involved with our network. Previous experience with drafting newsletters in MailChimp is a plus but we are also happy to teach you. Previous online writing experience, particularly with Ms. JD, is also a plus but not required. You are welcome to reach out to the outgoing NWLSO editor with any further questions at nwlsoeditor@ms-jd.org.
Interested applicants should submit a resume and cover letter explaining their interest in the Newsletter Editor Position to Ms. JD's Executive Director, Heather Byrd Asher, at applications@ms-jd.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis so early submission is encouraged.
