Lady Lawyers: Not an Oxymoron

In the legal profession, there has been a tendency for male created forms or values to control. ... Much academic and professional literature in the last decade addresses the rhetorical question, Is the law male? This question probes the extent to which concepts of gender permeate the fabric of the American legal system. This article explores the changing demographics of the legal profession. The author discusses what the implications of this new demographic could be, what progress has been made in integrating women into the profession, and places for improvement.
