Adam Grant and Sheryl Sandberg
There is a conversation to be had when multiple individuals do - or do not do - the same task at work but are perceived differently based on their gender. The same holds true for those situations in which someone is expected to do certain work that leads to limited or no professional rewards. Adam Grant and Sheryl Sandberg offer suggestions for workplaces, women, and men to remedy this kind of inequity. Among them, women are encouraged to modify their thinking in a few ways. For example, they are encouraged to place more value on what they need, at the same level with which they place value on others' needs. Men are encouraged to increase their efforts to support women, including accepting more responsibility for "office housework."
