This includes information that can identify you (“personal information”), including your first and last name, telephone number, postal and e-mail addresses, the law school you attend(ed), and, in some cases, billing information (such as credit card number, card type, cardholder name, and expiration date). You can choose not to provide information to us, but some information about you is required in order for you to register as a member; submit articles that you would like published on the site; post comments to featured articles; participate in a survey, sweepstakes or contest; ask us a question; or initiate other transactions on our site.

Information from Other Sources. We also may periodically obtain information about you from our business partners and other independent third-party sources and combine it with the information that you have provided to us.

Automatic Information. We automatically collect some information about your computer when you visit the Site. For example, we will collect your IP address, Web browser software (e.g., Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer), and referrer Web site. We also may collect information about the pages you view and other aspects of your online activity. We may combine this automatically-gathered information with other information, including personal information that we have collected about you.

Cookies and other Web Technologies. When you visit the Site, we may assign your computer a "cookie" (a small, unique identifier text file) that identifies you and may include information about your account. You can always choose not to receive a cookie file by enabling your Web browser to refuse cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie. Please note that by refusing to accept a cookie, you may not be able to access parts of the Site. Please also note that by refusing to accept a cookie, this may disable all cookies delivered to your browser, not just the ones delivered by this Site. We may combine the information that we collect through cookies with other information, including personal information that we have collected about you.
