Nutan Sewdath is an associate attorney of Edward V. Sapone, LLC, who is pending admission to the New York State Bar.
Ms. Sewdath received her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Government and Politics from St. John’s University and her Master of Arts degree magna cum laude in Urban Affairs & Policy Making from Queens College. Ms. Sewdath received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School with a certificate in criminal law. While at Brooklyn Law School Nutan was a recipient of the Edward V. Sparer Fellowship which enabled her to spend a summer at the Federal Defenders of New York in the Eastern District. While in Brooklyn Law School, Nutan completed externships at the Exoneration Initiative, the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, and Winston & Strawn LLP. In her final semester at Brooklyn Law, Nutan served as a teaching assistant to Professor Gerald Shargel for his Evidence class.
