Programs
Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world insight, the Leadership Academy prepares women in law to rise with clarity and conviction. During this 2-day leadership conference, law students from around the country hear from attorneys, thought leaders, and legal experts on developing the professional skills required to succeed in a career in law.
Ms. JD supports law students pursuing summer internships in public interest careers through the Breonna Taylor & Kenneth Walker Civil Rights Scholarship and the Public Interest Scholarship. We support all who are committed to justice and equity in the law.
Each year, Ms. JD selects 12 outstanding 3L leaders for a year of mentorship, leadership learning, and giving back. Through the Ms. JD Fellowship, law students gain a community of like-minded women and the opportunity to accelerate their career growth.
Our Writers in Residence program offers law students, attorneys, and legal professionals the opportunity to share their voice through the Ms. JD Blog. This program fosters a community of learning and growth, focusing on the lived experiences, challenges, and triumphs of women in law.
