Ms. JD is seeking diverse individuals in the legal community with an interest in leadership and a passion for helping women in law find community and opportunity at every stage in their career.
Participation as a board member of Ms. JD presents an enriching opportunity for professional development and leadership in the legal profession. If you are an aspiring leader with a passion to support women in law, becoming a board member will allow you to play a key role in the strategic direction of Ms. JD and bring you new insights and challenges as you work closely with like-minded professionals. How long is a Ms. JD Board term?
Board terms are a 2-year commitment, with the opportunity to renew.
How are applicants selected?
Applications are read thoroughly by a committee of current Board Leadership, who then discuss the applicants. Board members are selected based on their past experience and expertise, their demonstrated commitment to Ms. JD’s mission, their potential to contribute to our community, and the current needs of the Board.
